This is Treavor.

Treavor grew up in San Diego, CA, and, despite the lovely weather and great surf — decided to be a nerd and spend all of his time inside playing video games. Throughout school, he found a passion for telling stories. These started as creative writing assignments, then, of course, turned into Star Wars fan fiction in high school. Later, during college, his now wife asked him “What if you wrote something of your own?”

And that’s been all he’s been able to think about since.

He spent ten years working at a restaurant, starting as a parking lot attendant and working his way up to manager. During that time, he did as much writing as he could, including three novels that will never see the light of day. Working at the restaurant paid the bills, but the goal was always to write.

After the restaurant closed (because it was sold), Treavor found himself in a dead-end office job. It was awful. But during that time he finally made another dream of his happen. He started a podcast. All that time in the restaurant parking lot was either filled with writing or listening to podcasts — and Treavor finally got the courage and ability to try making one himself.

Through a series of events (and a pandemic), podcasting led Treavor to become a host for Champions of Lore on Twitch for Codename Entertainment. This then led to him becoming the Community Manager for their game, Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms — and finally, their lead Writer and Content Designer for the game. All of these roles were things he NEVER thought he would get to do and still to this day can’t believe he got to do.

In August 2024, he was laid off and is currently seeking work. He hopes to do writing and content design for another company.
